Connect

It’s very easy to pop along to a church service to see what we are all about. After a while, you may find that you’d like to become a bit more involved.

One of the most important parts of church life is small groups. These take a number of different forms: some people meet weekly or fortnightly to read the Bible together and pray, our youth group meets every week on a Friday night, we have some craft groups, a music connection group for toddlers, and a team who love to organize our monthly market on the first Saturday of each month.

Connecting with a small group is an essential part of growing in your faith – as Christians we should not be walking alone! They’re the primary way in which we can care for one another – and help build each other up.

Another good way to get connected in church life is to help out with any number of regular, small tasks that need doing. That might involve putting your name down to assist with a small part of the Sunday services every now and then, or adding your name to a team of people who do necessary jobs – looking after flowers, cleaning, organizing morning tea, helping out with food distribution, or getting involved in the musical side of things.

Please do get in contact with us if you’d like to know more – we’d be delighted to help get you connected.
